In this project, students will work in groups to create a multilingual cookbook featuring recipes from different countries. The project will cover the following learning outcomes:

  • Can do: Students will be able to work collaboratively, research and write recipes in a foreign language, and create a visually appealing cookbook.

Methodology

The project will be carried out over several weeks and will involve the following steps:

  1. Students will be divided into groups and assigned a country to research.
  2. Each group will research traditional recipes from their assigned country and translate them into English and another foreign language of their choice.
  3. Students will write up the recipes and include information about the cultural significance of each dish.
  4. Groups will design and create a visually appealing cookbook using online tools such as Canva or InDesign.
  5. Students will present their cookbooks to the class and share their experiences working on the project.

Instructions
