Creating a Digital Portfolio
In this project, students will learn how to create a digital portfolio to showcase their artwork. The project will cover the following learning outcomes:
- Students will know how to use digital tools to create a portfolio
- Students will understand the importance of organizing and presenting their artwork
- Students will be able to create a digital portfolio that showcases their artwork
Methodology
The project will be divided into three parts:
- Research and Planning: Students will research different digital portfolio platforms and plan the layout and design of their portfolio.
- Creating the Portfolio: Students will use digital tools such as Google Sites or Wix to create their portfolio. They will organize their artwork into different categories and add descriptions and reflections for each piece.
- Presenting the Portfolio: Students will present their portfolio to the class and receive feedback on their work.

- Access to computers or tablets
- Internet access
- Artwork created by students
Instructions
1. Introduce the project to the class and explain the learning outcomes.
2. Have students research different digital portfolio platforms and plan the layout and design of their portfolio.
3. Provide students with access to computers or tablets and guide them through the process of creating their portfolio.
4. Encourage students to organize their artwork into different categories and add descriptions and reflections for each piece.
5. Have students present their portfolio to the class and provide feedback on each other's work.
Assessment
Students will be assessed on the following:
- Their ability to use digital tools to create a portfolio
- Their understanding of the importance of organizing and presenting their artwork
- The quality of their portfolio and the artwork included
