In this project, students will use technology to create a digital storybook. This project will enhance their creativity, writing skills, and technology skills. The learning outcomes for this project include:
- Students will be able to write a story with a clear beginning, middle, and end.
- Students will be able to use technology to create a digital storybook.
- Students will be able to present their storybook to the class.
Methodology
First, students will brainstorm ideas for their storybook. They will then write a rough draft of their story, making sure to include a clear beginning, middle, and end. Once they have completed their rough draft, they will use technology to create a digital storybook. They can use a variety of tools such as Google Slides, PowerPoint, or StoryJumper. They will then present their storybook to the class.
Resources/Materials Required
- Computers or tablets
- Internet access
- Storybook templates (optional)
Instructions
- Introduce the project to the class and explain the learning outcomes.
- Brainstorm ideas for the storybook as a class.
- Have students write a rough draft of their story.
- Introduce the technology tools that they can use to create their digital storybook.
- Allow students time to work on their storybook.
- Have students present their storybook to the class.
