Instructions:

Step 1: Parts of Speech Charades

Divide the class into small groups. Each group will take turns acting out a noun, verb, adjective, or adverb while the rest of the group guesses the part of speech. Encourage students to use gestures and facial expressions to convey the meaning. This activity reinforces their understanding of different parts of speech.

Step 2: Subject-Verb Agreement Relay

Set up a relay race where students have to match subject cards with corresponding verb cards. Each student will take turns running to the board, selecting a subject card, and finding the correct verb card to complete the sentence. This activity helps students practice subject-verb agreement in a fun and active way.

Step 3: Punctuation Scavenger Hunt

Create a list of sentences with missing punctuation marks. Hang them around the classroom or schoolyard. Divide the class into pairs or small groups and give each group a worksheet with the sentences. Students will search for the sentences, add the correct punctuation marks, and write them on their worksheets. This activity reinforces proper punctuation usage.

Step 4: Online Grammar Games

Assess students' understanding of grammar concepts through observation during the activities, as well as through completed worksheets and participation in online games.
