Instructions:

4. Provide each group with chart paper or access to a whiteboard. Instruct them to create a visual representation of their branch of government, including key information such as the main responsibilities, important figures, and any interesting facts they discover.

6. After all the presentations, facilitate a class discussion on the system of checks and balances. Ask students to explain how each branch of government keeps the others in check and prevents any one branch from becoming too powerful.
